HC News: Ahmad Dahlan Halal Center, a Halal Training and Supervisor Institution Recognized by BPJPH

Assalamu’alaikum Sobat Halal-Mu

Exciting news from Ahmad Dahlan Halal Center (ADHC). ADHC received an invitation from the Halal Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (BPJPH) to attend the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement between BPJPH and Strategic Partners. This important event was also attended by various vocational training institutions, private university associations, the Association of Indonesian Health Colleges, the Alliance of Indonesian College Organizers, and various other related parties. The event was opened by the Head of BPJPH, Dr. Ahmad Haikal Hasan. In his remarks, he conveyed the importance of the participation of each party in contributing to the ummah, especially Muslims, in encouraging the halal certification process in Indonesia. Dr. Haikal Hasan reminded that in Surat Al-Baqarah verse 172, Allah SWT has ordered Muslims to consume halal and tayyib (good) food. This command emphasizes the importance of both aspects, namely halal and tayyib, which must be fulfilled simultaneously. Therefore, BPJPH is committed to following Allah’s commands in the Book of Allah and trying to carry out its duties in accordance with these principles.

As one of BPJPH’s strategic partners, Ahmad Dahlan Halal Center (ADHC) participated in the event and played an important role in encouraging the development of the halal ecosystem in Indonesia. After the signing of this MoU and Cooperation Agreement, ADHC is expected to run various training programs that will support the strengthening of the capacity of halal auditors and halal supervisors in the country. Mustofa Ahda, a representative from ADHC, stated that the organization has designed training activities that will be held at least three times a year. The training aims to strengthen the participants’ understanding and skills in auditing and supervising halal products, so that they can play an active role in ensuring sustainability and compliance with halal standards in Indonesia.

Great expectations were expressed by Mustofa Ahda, who believes that the training institution under the auspices of ADHC will be able to make a real contribution in supporting BPJPH to carry out its programs, especially in realizing the obligation of halal certification for products in Indonesia. With this collaboration, it is hoped that the halal certification process can run more smoothly and systemically, so as to have a positive impact on the Indonesian people, both in terms of economic, social and health.
