HALAL Goes To Yapen, Papua

Alhamdulillah, LPH-KHT Muhammadiyah has conducted halal product inspections on five (5) business actors in the Yapen Islands, Papua Province.
The inspection of halal products took place on Tuesday – Thursday, November 21 – 23, 2023. Audit activities are carried out in a hybrid manner with two (2) Halal Auditors from LPH-KHT Mu. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) that a minimum of two (2) Halal Auditors as a minimum testimony requirement.
“This is the first audit in Yapen, by LPH-KHT Mu.” Said the businessman.
There are at least three (3) agendas carried out by Mrs. Ir. Elvina A. Rahayu, MP as a representative of LPH-KHT Muhammadiyah who went to Papua.

- LPH-KHT Muhammadiyah gathering with Mr. Ir. Wahyudi Irianto as Head of the Serui Industry, Trade and Cooperative Office, Yapen Papua Province.
- LPH-KHT Muhammadiyah visit to Muhammadiyah University of Papua.
The visit of Mrs. Ir. Elvina A. Rahayu, MP to Universitas Muhammadiyah Papua was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. HR. Partino, M.Pd as Rector and his staff.
The visit as well as the delivery of material regarding the importance of establishing a Halal Center and Halal Production Process Assistance Institution (LP3H) at the University of Muhammadiyah Papua by Mrs. Ir. Elvina A. Rahayu, MP took place on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
The results of the meeting Mr. Prof. Dr. HR. Partino, M.Pd said that Universitas Muhammadiyah Papua will continue to establish the Halal Center and LP3H.
